Hi Stuart
To service your EOS 1D MK3 would be £150 plus VAT, this would include an AF set up
to the camera body. If you are having focusing issues it may be worth sending the lens is as well
so we can then match the camera and lens together. this would be an extra £50 plus VAT for the lens.
There would also be return postage on the items of £11 plus VAT.
Please note that parts are no longer available on the EOS 1D III
Hi Sir,
Good evening, I have a CANON 7D MKII, at the moment it has no power at all, i read some comments about this, and the said that the problem for this is, the mainboard, if this is the case, how much is the mainboard and the service charge.
Thanks and regards
I have an EOS 60D. The shutter mechanism seems to have stopped working – remove lens, turn on, switch to live view – mirror lifts, shutter curtains do not budge. Press shutter release – shutter curtains do not move. All pictures taken in any mode are “black”. I presume this is a failed shutter mechanism? Can this be fixed? what is the likely cost for this including parts?
Many thanks
I dropped my cannot 70-300 l series lens this morning. Fortunately it bounced and it is still working well. However the front part of the lens -where the lens cap secures has a minor “out of shape” – only visible with good glasses – lens cap tight if rotated. I am concerned that a seal may have been broken and would like an estimate to repair please.
Hi Richard
If this is the EF 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6L IS lens then to replace the front ring and check sealing would be
£85 plus return postage and VAt.
Sorry for the delay in replying, we have had a few issues with messages.
Hi how much for a service on a 1d3? check the AF and recalibrate? Would I also need to include my 24-105l for the calibration?

Hi Martin
To replace the shutter on your EOS 60D would be £105 labour plus £30.56 parts

Obviously if this shutter is not required then we would let you know once we
have the camera for inspection.
